In another rematch from earlier this year the Eagles faced a fine pitching effort from Destiny but did just enough to earn the 5-4 victory.  Rob Norris pitched another fine game and got out of several jams with key strikeouts.  The Eagles ran the bases aggressively and improved hitting made the difference in this game.  Eugene Lewis hit a towering homerun and timely hits by James Apodaca and Christian Manymules helped the Eagles’ cause.  The game was tied 4-4 going into the bottom half of the 5^th inning.  Christian Manymules started the inning with a single.  He then stole second and third base to get the winning run in scoring position.  On the next pitch Manymules scored the winning run on a wild pitch and giving the Eagles their most exciting win of the season.  The win also ended their regular season record at 7-3.  They will play Arizona Charter Academy in the first round of the playoffs on Tuesday, May 4 at 6:30PM.  The game will be played at SRHS baseball field.
