This game was a rematch of a road game where the Eagles were victorious 9-5 just two weeks earlier.  This time around the Eagles had a tough time getting the bats going and suffered a 4-7 defeat at the hands of a well prepared Foothills team. Foothills benefited from good pitching and timely hitting, while the Eagles struggled to get in a groove offensively or defensively.  The loss dropped the Eagles record to 6-2 on the season.
