SRHS 11 – Cortez 8:  The Eagles got the season off to a running start as the offense clicked with a homerun by John Hill and hits by Rob Norris, Christian Manymules, Jose Meraz and Jonathan Loring.  The Eagles also ran the bases well with timely stolen bases and scored several times on past balls at the plate.  Rob Norris pitched the opener and after an 11-3 lead held on to  earn his first ‘W’ of the season.
